OM Sanctuary’s Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting 6/6/13

OMS Ribbon Cutting FINALS-57 for blog

After cleaning up the burn site of the former Richmond Hill Inn mansion, in May 2013 OM Sanctuary received our occupancy certificate. We then had our Ribbon Cutting sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. It was an exciting day! Commissioner David Gantt, Timothy Ballard and representatives from the Chamber of Commerce all agreed that they had never seen such a turn out for a ribbon cutting!
The Sahara Peace Choir sang out, standing over our waterfall, allowing the music to float out over everyone, feeling like a blessing. Author and renowned architect, Susan Susanka gave a lovely tribute. The American Chestnut Foundation provided seedlings which were planted on the property. Thank you to everyone who attended and graced us with their presence. A special thank you to local business who donated food and door prizes….
